You have gone to the Rainbow Bridge to give love and hope to animals that are no longer with us on Earth.
Terri Tinsley wrote the following email about a rescue dog, Merlin, who suddenly passed away.
November, 2003

"When I die, I intend to ask God if I can stay at the Rainbow Bridge instead of going into heaven, because there are so many pets that go to the rainbow bridge without ever having known the love and compassion of a human being. Puppies frozen to death in wire cages at puppymills. Kittens drown because the female cat "just keeps getting herself pregnant". I want to promise these animals there is still hope for them, it'll just happen in their next lifetime, when they return to earth again.“

Terri Tinsley was killed in a car accident on December 9, 2003. Her passing created a void in the hearts of countless animals and people across the state of Wisconsin and the United States. Her joyous spirit, dedication to animals, tireless leadership and genuine compassion will never be forgotten. Terri left behind a legacy of love, hope and kindness. Terri was a beloved wife, incredible friend, dedicated rescuer and a true inspiration.

Terri’s legacy will live on through the good works of the groups she put together. Her tireless efforts created a union between Wisconsin shelters and rescues resulting in thousands of animals being saved every year. She founded ARF’s German Shepherd Rescue and rescued 52 GSD’s in just two years time. She owned the Wisconsin Dog Rescue List and tirelessly fought for the rights of the animals cast out by society. Terri’s dedication resulted in the WDR group being the finest in the United States – proactively working with shelters for the betterment of the animals. No other group can boast the same. No other person can come close to the accomplishments made by Terri. Please cherish your new Angel. We sure miss her here. Godspeed Terri, we will never forget you.
